Actor Davis Roberts (7 March 1917 – 18 July 1993; age 76), from Mobile, Alabama, is an actor who portrayed Dr. Ozaba in the third season episode of Star Trek: The Original Series, "The Empath".
Throughout his career, Roberts appeared in over 30 feature films, including: In a Lonely Place (1950) with Humphrey Bogart; The Killers (1964) featuring Ronald Reagan in his last film role; The Chase (1966) with Marlon Brando; Westworld (1973) with Yul Brynner; Demon Seed (1977) which also featured Michael Dorn in a bit role; and John Schlesinger's Honky Tonk Freeway. He also appeared in the mini-series Roots, which starred LeVar Burton, as well as many television series, including I Dream of Jeannie, Mission: Impossible, Gunsmoke, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Sanford and Son, and All in the Family.
