Della Santina was an associate of the Bajoran criminal Ibudan. Ibudan had a lunch meeting with Della Santina on stardate 46383. (DS9: "A Man Alone")

Della's name was found in the events found on Ibudan's personal calendar that Odo was reviewing. Della Santina was named after DS9 unit production manager Robert della Santina.
