The Dremans are a humanoid species native to the planet Drema IV in the Selcundi Drema sector. They have dark orange skin, enlarged foreheads and fingers which become progressively longer from the index finger to the little (pinky) finger. The Dremans fall under the protection of the Prime Directive, as they are a pre-warp civilization that possess some technology, such as radio frequency transmitters.

In 2365, Data violated the Prime Directive when he responded to a radio call from a Dreman named Sarjenka. (TNG: "Pen Pals")
