Writer Drew Deighan originated the stories of TNG: "Sins of the Father" and "Reunion".

Besides his writing work, he also had a small role in The Return of the Living Dead (1985), as Jerry the ill-fated paramedic. John Durbin also appeared, and the film featured make-up by Ken Myers.
