Earth-Kzin Wars

The Earth-Kzin Wars were a series of conflicts between Earth forces and the Kzinti in the mid-21st century.

These wars ended in a decisive victory for Earth, who imposed many restrictions upon the Kzinti, including limiting their space fleet to a few patrol ships. (TAS: "The Slaver Weapon")

Little is revealed of the details of the wars, but the date of the last of the four wars were stated as being "200 years ago" from 2269, placing it sometime in the late 21st century. Note that this may contradict information revealed in later Star Trek episodes and films, specifically Star Trek: First Contact. In Larry Niven's Known Space universe where the Kzin originated from, they were known as the Man-Kzin Wars.
