The Embarcadero was a district located in San Francisco, directly adjacent to San Francisco Bay.
Malcolm Reed often visited a seafood restaurant on the Embarcadero together with Mark Latrelle, when the two were training in the city prior to 2151. However, Reed wasn't interested in its fish specialties, but in a waitress called Maureen. (ENT: "Silent Enemy")
In 2375, Captain Janeway suggested that Chakotay should date Valerie Archer in a nice Japanese replimat on the Embarcadero in Species 8472's recreation of San Francisco. (VOY: "In the Flesh")
