Erick Avari (born 13 April 1952; age 57) has appeared in three of the Star Trek spinoffs. He has also built an impressive resume of credits, having portrayed characters in a wide range of nationalities.
He has had major roles in such films as Independence Day, The Mummy, Mr. Deeds, Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes, Daredevil and Stargate. He reprised his role as Kasuf from the latter film in several episodes on Stargate SG-1, one of only two actors from the film to do so. The other was Alexis Cruz.
His other television credits include episodes of Law & Order, Alias, Babylon 5, The X-Files, Heroes, seaQuest DSV, and a recurring role on the remake series Dragnet.
