Fer'at was a Vulcan psychiatric analyst stationed at the Vulcan Compound on Earth.

In 2153, he posed as a pathologist checking Jonathan Archer for pyritic radiation exposure in an attempt to determine Archer's mental stability, as the Vulcans placed very little credence in Archer's claim to have talked to the Suliban's master from the future. (ENT: "The Expanse")
