The Ficus sector is a relatively unexplored region of space located near or within the Federation and the location of the Bringloid system.
During the 22nd century, two Earth colonies were established in the Bringloid system of the Ficus sector: a colony on Bringloid V and the Mariposa colony. The two colonies would be reunited in 2365. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder")
According to the okudagram seen in the episode, the Ficus sector may be either sector 184 or 185.
In the SCE eBook Out of the Cocoon, the joint colony became known as the United Ficus Colony.
