First Hebitian civilization

The First Hebitian civilization was an ancient civilization on Cardassia Prime. Their burial vaults were said to be magnificent, and contained many artifacts made of jevonite, a rare and breathtaking stone.

In the 22nd century, when the burial vaults were first unearthed, they were plundered by impoverished Cardassians, and most of the artifacts were stolen. Some were preserved in museums, but these were ultimately sold to pay for Cardassian war efforts. (TNG: "Chain of Command, Part II")
