From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference

Can I just clarify, I have looked through the Policies, and specifically MoS and found nothing in relation to spelling. Does MA have such a policy?

Yes. American spelling. Despite the fact that most of us aren't Americans. It has to do with the fact that Star Trek is American, and thus, so the spelling is too. :) -- Sulfur 22:44, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
