Frederick is a Human name.

In 2372, Ensign Samantha Wildman of the USS Voyager was considering the name Frederick for her unborn child, whom she believed to be a boy. The Doctor told her that the name closely resembled an "impolite" Bolian term. Wildman also considered naming the child Cameron, Sural or Greskrendtregk, after her husband. (VOY: "Dreadnought")
