Frederick La Rouque

Frederick La Rouque was a Human professional gambler from New Orleans who lived during the latter half of the 19th century. His parents were from the French region of Burgundy, so he spoke French fluently.
His profession took him to San Francisco in 1893, where he met an interesting gentleman from France named Data. Pegging Data for an easy mark, La Rouque was cleaned out by him in the game of poker. (TNG: "Time's Arrow")
- La Rouque was played by actor Marc Alaimo. It was his last role on TNG, as DS9 began filming several months later. The character of La Rouque hails from New Orleans, the hometown of Benjamin Sisko.
