The Bajoran Freight and Shipping Authority was an agency in the Bajoran Provisional Government that dealt with freighters and the cargo they transported.
In 2375, (shortly after the Breen attack on San Francisco) Captain Benjamin Sisko talked to the Freight and Shipping Authority and asked them to take Kasidy Yates off the active list. Although she was given a months paid vacation, this angered Kasidy and Sisko talked with the FSA again to put her back on the list. (DS9: "The Changing Face of Evil")
