Gail Strickland (born 18 May 1947; age 62) is the actress who played Alixus in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Paradise".

In 1973, Strickland won the Drama Desk Award in the Most Promising Performer category for her work in the play Status Quo Vadis.

She has played many notable roles on various television series including "Sheila Corinth" in the pilot episode of Night Court (with John Larroquette); "Marilyn McGrath" in Heartbeat (with Kate Mulgrew); "Olive Davis" in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (with Chad Allen, Barbara Babcock, and Helene Udy); and "Deborah Szwark" in First Monday (with Stephen Markle, Camille Saviola, and Dean Stockwell)
