Galaxy (magazine)
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.
Galaxy was a science fiction magazine on Earth in the 1950s. It featured the work of some of the genre's greatest writers including Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, and Theodore Sturgeon. "Court Martial" was one of the stories written for it.
It was the main competition to Incredible Tales and was held up by Herbert Rossoff as a superior publication. Douglas Pabst thought it was a "rag". (DS9: "Far Beyond the Stars")
- The cover image of Galaxy seen in the episode "Far Beyond the Stars" was a matte painting of the Starbase 11 planet in the Star Trek: The Original Series episodes "Court Martial" and "The Menagerie, Part I".
