Galley

A galley is section located on a starship to provide "public" dining facilities. On some starships, a chef operates the galley, preparing food and cuisine for the crew and guests.
In 2151, Hoshi Sato discovered that the Chef protected his galley, resulting in Hoshi's cessation of her own cooking. (ENT: "Silent Enemy")
In 2371, Neelix established a galley on board the USS Voyager, by taking over the Captain's dining room. (VOY: "Phage")
Klingon Raptor-class scouts were also designed with a galley. (ENT: "Sleeping Dogs")
