Goren system

The Goren system is a star system whose inhabitants were undergoing a territorial dispute in 2375 which required Federation mediation. With the majority of Federation diplomats wrapped up with Dominion negotiations, the USS Enterprise-E was ordered to the Goren system so that Captain Jean-Luc Picard could put out "another brush fire". The mission was delayed when the ship diverted to Sector 441 to investigate the temporary malfunction of Lieutenant Commander Data. (Star Trek: Insurrection)
