Lieutenant Grant was a 23rd century Starfleet security officer aboard the USS Enterprise serving under Captain James T. Kirk.
Grant was part of the landing party that beamed down to the planet Capella IV in 2267 to secure topaline mining rights for the Federation. The Capellans killed Grant when he attempted to reach for his phaser at the sight of the Klingon, Kras. (TOS: "Friday's Child")
