Gravity boot

Gravity boots (also known as magnetic boots) are a type of footwear used by Starfleet officers, and presumably other spacefaring civilizations.
These boots provide stability by adhering to a compatible surface, useful when sufficient gravity (or artificial gravity) is not available, including extra-vehicular environments ("space walk" situations).
They are included in environmental suits in case of the deck floor gravity plating going offline.(citation needed • edit)
