H. Ellison

H. Ellison was a space officer in the year 2370, the captain of the starship GS 12.

Under his command, the vessel visited the planet Organia, and was due to arrive at Deep Space 9 on stardate 47557.1, according to an arrival roster recorded in that station's library computer. (DS9: "Whispers")

This character was named after Harlan Ellison, the science fiction writer. His name was not mentioned in dialog, it was simply listed in an okudagram graphic of an arrival roster on a viewscreen. The graphic was also populated by a number of other in-jokes.
