Hadran was a male Rakhari who served as exarch of Nehelik Province on Rakhar during the late-2360s.
In 2369, Hadran was contacted by Commander Benjamin Sisko and Lieutenant Jadzia Dax, both of whom had traveled to the planet aboard the USS Rio Grande. After being informed of Croden's arrest for the murder of Ro-Kel on Deep Space 9, Hadran demanded that he be returned to Rakhar so he could be punished for the crimes he had committed on his own world. Sisko, realizing he had to abide by the Prime Directive, granted his request. It was later discovered that Croden's crimes were that he had spoken out against his oppressive government, resulting in the death of his family. (DS9: "Vortex")
Hadran was played by actor Gordon Clapp.
His costume was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]
His name comes from the script. The script states the pronunciation of Hadran's name as "HAY-dran". It goes onto to describe him as, "a Rakhari Official [...] barely courteous, very cold." [2]
