Hadrons are any type of subatomic particles that are made up of quarks and are subject to strong forces.
The weapons analysis made by Malcolm Reed of the weapons signature found on the debris of a Rigelian freighter that was discovered by Enterprise, in late 2154, determined a hadron count of 147 ppm. (ENT: "Affliction" display readout)
