The Hamar Mountains are a region on Qo'noS.

It is traditional that the Var'Hama candles used in a Klingon wedding are made from targs captured and sacrificed in the Hamar Mountains.

Jadzia Dax was unable to travel to the mountains, due to her and Worf's wedding being held earlier than planned. (DS9: "You Are Cordially Invited")
