Highway 949 was a major road located in the United States of America, near McKinley Rocket Base.

In 1968, Agent 201 and Agent 347 were killed in a car accident on this highway, ten miles north of the base. (TOS: "Assignment: Earth")

A Highway 949 exists in Pennsylvania and Kentucky, but no information was given in the episode as to this road's location.
