Ian Ray is an actor who primarily works in TV commercials, often portraying Count Dracula or other generic vampires. He portrayed a Tyran technician in the 1992 Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Quality of Life".

Just prior to his Star Trek appearance, Ian portrayed a party host in the TV film Yesterday Today (co-starring Kevin Tighe). In 1994, Ian appeared in an episode of the series Dream On entitled "The Homecoming Queen" (alongside Kim Cattrall and David Graf). Recently, Ray portrayed a Secret Agent in the 2008 film Julia (co-starring Saul Rubinek and Jude Ciccolella). In 2009, he played a Hollywood Boulevard Dracula impersonator in the acclaimed TV series The Closer.

Ian Ray has also worked as a body double on a number of films, including Space Cowboys (starring James Cromwell). He has also worked as a stand-in for such actors as Donald Sutherland, John Cleese, and Patrick Bauchau.
