Ice skating was a sport and recreational activity performed on a sheet of ice. Participants wore ice skates to glide across the ice.

It was one of Lyndsay Ballard's favorite activities. After she returned to the USS Voyager in 2376 as a Kobali, she asked Harry Kim to go ice skating with her on the holodeck. (VOY: "Ashes to Ashes")
