Started in 1903, the Ideal Toy Company was most notable for producing the first toy teddy bears. They hit their heyday in the 1960s and 1970s, producing many popular toys and board games, most notably the line of Evel Knievel action figures and toys. The company officially disappeared in the mid-1980s, but many companies still produce the toys and games that made the company famous.
Ideal produced two Star Trek-related products:
- The 1967 Star Trek Game
- The Pocket Flix Movie Viewer with Star Trek cassette
