Imaging chamber

The imaging chamber was part of Enterprise (NX-01)'s sickbay. It was used to do full body scans and to give treatment to patients.

Whlist under attack by the Mazarites in February 2152, Captain Jonathan Archer ordered Vulcan Ambassador V'Lar to sickbay. When the Mazarites boarded, they were taken to sickbay, where V'Lar was supposedly undergoing dermal regeneration for plasma burns in the chamber. The Mazarites destroyed the chamber as their ships were attacked by the Vulcan ship Sh'Raan, believing the ambassador was inside. As they left, V'Lar entered sickbay, proving that she had never been in the chamber. (ENT: "Fallen Hero")

In March 2153, Doctor Phlox was infected with Borg nanoprobes. He devised a treatment of omicron particles, but the dosage would have to be very high. He used the imaging chamber to apply the treatment, and while it was visibly unpleasant, he made a full recovery. (ENT: "Regeneration")
