An intercooler matrix is a feature of a Jem'Hadar attack ship.

In 2375, Bronok and four other members of the Cardassian Rebellion planted a bomb in a Jem'Hadar ship's intercooler matrix, despite the fact that Kira Nerys had told them to plant it in the secondary plasma relay. (DS9: "Tacking Into the Wind")
