John Paul "J.P." Hubbell is an actor who appeared as a Starfleet ensign in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Man of the People".
Hubbell is the brother of actor Andy Hubbell. He is maybe best known for his recurring role in the awarded television series ER, where he played the EMT Lars Audia in 15 episodes between 1997 and 1999 and appeared alongside fellow series regulars Lily Mariye, Ted Rooney, Kirsten Dunst, Christine Harnos, and Clancy Brown.
Other television series Hubbell has appeared in include Growing Pains (1990, episode Divorce Story, with Jennifer Nash), Babylon 5 (1997, episode Between the Darkness and the Light, with Bill Mumy, Patricia Tallman, Andreas Katsulas, Bruce Gray, Marjorie Monaghan, and Musetta Vander), The West Wing (2002 episode Hartfield's Landing and 2003 episode Evidence of Things Not Seen, with Thomas Kopache in the previous one), Cold Case (2004, episode Greed, with John Kassir), and CSI: Miami (2006, episode Driven, with David Lee Smith).
Hubbell has also acted in several films such as the television film For the Very First Time (1991, with Mädchen Amick and Christine Rose), the comedy spoof Loaded Weapon 1 (1993, with William Shatner, James Doohan, F.
