In 2151, J. Eaves was noted on the dedication plaque of the Enterprise (NX-01) for his work on the ship's spaceframe engineering.
Eaves' name was listed on the dedication plaque of the NX-01. The officer was named for John Eaves, the designer of several Star Trek ships including the USS Enterprise-E.
