James (Winona Kirk's father)

James was the father of Winona Kirk and the grandfather of George Samuel (in the prime reality) and James T. Kirk (in the prime and alternate realities), the latter of whom was named after him.

In an alternate reality, James' son-in-law George suggested that his youngest son be named after James rather than his own father. (Star Trek)
