James Minor is an actor and occasional stuntman who served as stand-in, photo double, and occasional stunt double for Michael Dorn in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Insurrection. In addition he appeared in several small acting roles in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He received no on-screen credits for his appearances.
As photo double for Michael Dorn he "acted" in episodes such as "The Visitor", "Tears of the Prophets", and "Take Me Out to the Holosuite". Dorn was busy filming Insurrection at the time or only wide shoots of him were required.
Minor has performed in the television series Brutally Normal, episode Stretching Ethics (2000, guest starring Leigh McCloskey) and served as stand-in for Danny Glover in the two time Academy Award winning biopic Dreamgirls (2006, with Ivar Brogger, Vince Grant, Robert Curtis Brown, Daniel Riordan, and Kelly Sheerin).
