Janeway (Ensign)

Ensign Janeway was a sciences division Starfleet officer serving aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2369. Her duties sometimes involved running diagnostics on the sensor pallets.

Janeway sought counseling from Deanna Troi when she felt her supervisor, Lieutenant Pinder, was overly critical of her performance and went out of his way to find faults with her work. Troi, under the influence of Ambassador Ves Alkar's psychic link, was unsympathetic to the ensign, suggesting the situation was Janeway's fault because she complained too much and wanted to be coddled. Janeway was played by actress Lucy Boryer. No connection was ever established between this character and Kathryn Janeway of Star Trek: Voyager.
