These Miners were on the planet Janus VI. A Horta was killing the miners, in order to protect it's eggs. They attacked a security team from the Enterprise that was trying to hold them back while Spock attempted to communicate with the creature. (TOS: "The Devil in the Dark" remastered)
Appel,Roberts, Sam, and Vanderberg were part of the group.
The unnamed miners were played by Niel Wray, and unknown actors.
