The Janus loop was a mid-22nd century posting near Saturn's moon Janus.

Early in his career, MACO Corporal F. Hawkins "did six months on the Janus loop" at some time prior to being assigned to Enterprise. While there, he logged over a thousand hours in an EV suit, and took EV combat training. (ENT: "The Council")
