Jaya was a female Tilonian.

In 2369, Jaya was part of a simulation created by Suna to brain wash Commander William Riker and gain tactical information. In the simulation, Jaya was an inmate at the Tilonus Institute for Mental Disorders on Tilonus IV. She believed that she was Commander Bloom of the USS Yorktown. She attempted to contact the Yorktown with a spoon as a communicator. (TNG: "Frame of Mind")

Jaya was played by Star Trek regular Susanna Thompson.
