Joachim
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.
Joachim was an Augment (a genetically engineered Human) born in the 20th century on Earth. He was a disciple of Khan Noonien Singh and one of the so-called "supermen" who fled Earth with Khan aboard the SS Botany Bay. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
[edit] Background
Joachim was played by Judson Scott. His character was apparently intended to be Joaquin, one of the supermen (played by Mark Tobin) seen in TOS: "Space Seed", but he is a separate character due to the name being changed, possibly erroneously, in production of Star Trek II.
The vest worn by Joachim in Star Trek II was sold as Lot #821 at the 40 Years of Star Trek: The Collection. The buyer paid US$5,040 for the lot, after winning it with a bid of US$4,200. The catalog, which listed the lot as "JOAQUIM'S VEST", estimated a price of 600 to 800 dollars.
[edit] Apocrypha
In Greg Cox's Trek novel To Reign in Hell: The Exile of Khan Noonien Singh, Joachim is the son of Joaquin and Ling after Khan and his fellow superman were left on Ceti Alpha Five. Cox noted in his novels that all the crewmembers/followers of Khan found on Ceti Alpha Five were a lot younger than Khan; he attempted to explain in the novel how these were the descendants of the original supermen of the Eugenics Wars, and how Khan was the only survivor of the original group left stranded.
