Joan Collins (born 23 May 1933; age 75) is the actress who played Edith Keeler in the TOS episode "The City on the Edge of Forever". An English actress, Collins arrived in Hollywood in the late 1950s, and made a number of films until the early sixties, when her career slowed by her choice, though she did make a number of notable television guest-appearances (including her appearance on Star Trek). She returned to film in the early seventies. In 1981, Collins' career was revitalised by her starring role as Alexis Carrington in the successful and popular prime-time soap opera Dynasty: arguably her most famous role to date. Dynasty also featured Trek alumna Stephanie Beacham.
