Joel Swetow played the role of Gul Jasad in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine pilot episode "Emissary". Later he appeared in TNG: "Firstborn" as Yog. He also played the Andorian ambassador Thoris in ENT: "Terra Prime".
In 2000, he starred in the motion picture Return to the Secret Garden with fellow DS9 guest star Michelle Horn.
