John Nowak is a stuntman and stunt actor who plied his trade on Star Trek: The Next Generation and three of the TNG films, serving as Patrick Stewart's stunt double. He was also the main stunt double for Robert Picardo on Star Trek: Voyager. Nowak received no credit for any of his television appearances.
He also doubled Stewart on the 1998 film Safe House. In addition, he has performed stunts in numerous other films, including The Towering Inferno, Critters and Army of Darkness. He also had small roles in the Clint Eastwood films Any Which Way you Can (also featuring Roy Jenson, George Murdock and Logan Ramsey) and Sudden Impact.
