Josef Burnett Cannon (born 22 July 1960; age 49) is an actor from Chicago, Illinois who played a holographic Klingon in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Icarus Factor". He received no on-screen credit for his appearance.

Cannon was married to Catherine Collins and they have one daughter, Shelby, born in 1994. His daughter was snatched by her mother in 1998 and brought into the United Kingdom. If Collins will ever return to the USA she will face charges. Now he is traveling between California and London. Cannon has appeared in several television commercials and stage plays and can be seen in the music video "Lean on me" with Mary J. Blige, Bono, and R. Kelly.

Among his acting resume are films such as Wildcats (1986, with Bruce McGill), Rockula (1990), Like Mike (2002, with Roger Morrissey, Basil Wallace, and Tucker Smallwood), Lackawanna Blues (2005, with Greg Poland), and War of the Worlds (2005, with Stephen Gevedon, Becky Ann Baker, Dendrie Taylor, Ricky Luna, and Rachelle Roderick).

Cannon has also appeared in television series such as Tour of Duty (1990, with Dan Gauthier), The Golden Palace (1993, with Stephen James Carver and Ricardo Montalban), Mike Hammer, Private Eye (1997, with Conroy Gedeon), JAG (2000, with Kris Iyer, Clyde Kusatsu, Tina Lifford, and Julia Nickson), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2002, with Cliff De Young, Todd Stashwick, Damara Reilly, and Hilary Shepard), Judging Amy (2002, with Robert Curtis Brown, Christopher Liam Moore, and Brian Markinson), and Las Vegas (2004, with Nikki Cox and Dayo Ade), and in talk shows such as Jenny Jones (2002) and The Late Late Show (2005).
