Karana was a Klingon concubine who lived outside the Imperial Stables during the Second Dynasty. After the fall of that dynasty, Karana was given the name and title of Shenara, daughter of Emperor Reclaw, when the Third Dynasty came to power. Karana was Sirella's 23rd maternal grandmother.
