A Kartelan freighter was a type of freighter utilized by the Kartelans during the late 24th century.
Eight weeks prior to stardate 53329, an away team from USS Voyager encountered a Kartelan freighter carrying supplies from Sector 492. The freighter had previously visited a former Talaxian colony, where it had acquired several kilograms of amber spice. Neelix was able to procure twelve kilograms of the spice for his food stores.
