N. Kemper
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.
N. Kemper was a sergeant of the MACO force assigned to Enterprise in 2153.
Kemper was slow to adjust to life in space; he had to visit Doctor Phlox every morning. He ate lunch in the mess hall with Hayes, Romero, and Chang every day. Kemper lived in Duluth, Minnesota until junior high-school. Before his assignment to Enterprise, Kemper was posted outside Atlanta.
Kemper was part of the MACO team that, in September of 2153, rescued Captain Jonathan Archer, Commander Charles Tucker, and Kessick from the trellium mining planet. (ENT: "The Xindi")
Later that month he commanded the MACO squad on a mission to a derelict pirated by the Osaarians, as well as the Osaarians' cache on a Delphic Expanse sphere. (ENT: "Anomaly")
Kemper was in sickbay on February 13, 2154, but a full recovery was expected. (ENT: "Countdown")
[edit] Background
Kemper was played by Nathan Anderson, who is also from Duluth, Minnesota.
Kemper was mentioned as being injured in "Countdown", but as he was not on the mission to recover Hoshi Sato from the Xindi-Reptilians, the cause of his injuries is unknown. It is possible he was injured in the battle in that episode, or perhaps even in the one in "Azati Prime".
