Khefka IV is a planet that based a Federation Consulate during the late 24th century.
Verad was stationed there as a communications clerk at some point before 2370, and he took a native called Mareel under his care, rescuing her from the rough street-life on the planet, and taking her with him when he was recalled to Trill. (DS9: "Invasive Procedures")
