Kohn-Ma

The Kohn-Ma were a Bajoran terrorist/separatist group that operated during the Occupation of Bajor and beyond. They opposed any outside influence on Bajor, including the Federation.
In the 2350s, Surmak Ren was a secret member of the Kohn-Ma while he "officially" was a member of the Higa Metar resistance cell. Some members of this cell were informants and told the Cardassians about his Kohn-Ma involvement, as he actually was responsible for several "disruptive" acts of the Kohn-Ma. (DS9: "Babel")
In 2369, the Kohn-Ma claimed responsibility for the assassination of one of Bajor's First Ministers. A month later, when Deep Space 9 was under Starfleet and Bajoran control, Kohn-Ma dissident Tahna Los threatened to destroy the Bajoran wormhole in an effort to make Bajor less attractive to the Federation. He felt the Federation was only involved in Bajor because of the wormhole. (DS9: "Past Prologue")
In a Cardassian Intelligence file, read by Commander Sisko in 2369, Tahna Los was mentioned as the "notorious Kohn-Ma organizer" and Kira Nerys as a minor operative of the Kohn-Ma. (DS9: "Battle Lines")
