Krag was the Chief Investigator of the Tanugan security force in 2366. He requested the implementation for Commander William T. Riker's extradition under suspicion of the murder of Dr. Nel Apgar. After witnessing evidence that cleared Riker, Krag withdrew his request for Riker's extradition. (TNG: "A Matter of Perspective")
