The Krasner outpost is an outpost that has been involved in some military conflicts involving the Federation before 2366.

One of Admiral Connaught Rossa's sons was killed in action at the outpost. Her other son, Connor Rossa and his wife Moira were killed by Talarian troops during the Galen border conflicts. (TNG: "Suddenly Human")
